BOTTOM TIER
By: 2020rank Posted:

If popularity, local connections and Instagram followers determined ranking, Gam would be top tier. If you wanted to rank based on actually having a sisterhood and values Gam is solid bottom tier. Most of these girls act like they hate the majority of their sisters and turn their noses up at anyone who isn’t in their organization or a frat that they deem acceptable. They care a lot more about frats than their sisterhood and if you weren’t popular in high school or from Murray/Paducah, don’t bother trying to become a part of this chapter. Gam and AOPi are cut from the same cloth but Gam is the louder, more annoying, less classy version.

MIDDLE TIER

This is the sorority is firmly middle tier. They typically place or do well at campus events, their philanthropy events are successful. Their members are involved on campus and typically have average or above average grades. Typically don’t have mid to low tier frats for Hoco partners. They had a great recruitment this year (recognized by international pres) and truly are one of the most accepting and genuinely loving sisterhood on campus. They might not all be super wealthy, stereotypical sorority girls but there is something to be said for being able to recruit based on something more than status. I don’t ever see them being top tier, they’re too genuine and not obsessed with their place on campus in the way that Gam, AOPi and ASA are. Over all not a bad chapter and def a good national organization to be a part of. Also let’s stop the trend of judging chapters based on what girls do at parties or if they get blackballed or not. Girls from every chapter on campus have been blackballed for plenty of stupid reasons.we can’t act like frat boys are always fair and reasonable creatures

This fraternity is an amazing group of gentlemen and an all a round, fantastic chapter. If anyone were to call an Alpha Sigma Phi brother, they would be there in an instance to do whatever was asked of them.

These boys are actually sweethearts and get a bad rep for the mistakes that a few brothers make. Even though they hang with aopi and gam they are nice and are usually gentlemen.

Used to be really involved on campus but now they only show up so they stay on the map. Fake sisters but they know how to look good for girls looking to rush. Really love to brag and put on a show of "sisterhood" by making their panda wall.... they also got in trouble for their wall. During recruitment one girl told me while I was leaving that I wasn't "panda material" which I was ok with since they were my last choice :) anyway snaps to them

LOVE this sorority at OTHER colleges but they are actually the worst here. They sleep with other sisters' boyfriends and do dumb stuff at frat parties just for attention. One girl got blackballed at a party because she broke their door. Not the first psycho girl in the sorority. Another girl obsessed over this guy so much that she created a fake Instagram to tell a girl that her boyfriend was cheating on her and was at this girl's house... the gf was with her bf in the same room. That's not even a quarter of the drama these girls stir up.

ASA isn't really active in greek life. They don't really go out and the only posts I see of their sisters are during bid day and other days like that. They are also REALLY annoying when they compete in ACS. Also, they are really creepy during the 2 recruitments that I went through. ( I went through 2 days of spring and wanted to wait for more options in the fall). They really don't have a type that they look for during recruitment which makes them look very disorganized.

MSU said they were adding 3 new sororities to MSU's greek life which were DZ,KD, and phi mu... they should have added phi mu instead of DZ. The girls are always messy and trashy at parties. If you get a DZ girl she's most likely going to be crying over a chad when she gets 3 Smirnoff in her. Most of the DZ girls I know have talked down on other sisters and are only in greek life to party.
