MIDDLE TIER
By: 2020rank Posted:

The only things that I remember about sigmas is that they enjoy partying and don’t do much. I never know if they actually like their sorority or sisterhood. They just kinda coast by. I’d put them just barely above DZ, ADPi and ASA with campus popularity. A lot of girls like the idea of Greek life more than actually being Greek

BOTTOM TIER

KD has really fallen down into being a bottom tier at Murray. They were mid tier my freshman year and have now have taken the bottom spot that Dz held. They aren’t super involved and half the time I forget they exist. Their members seem to like each other but they don’t really do much? Just like the other middle to low tiers, they are more open and accepting to recruiting not typical sorority girls.

MIDDLE TIER

Solid middle tier. Over my 4 years on campus DZ has become a lot better chapter They still struggle and sometimes get weird girls but also are getting quality girls. Super social with almost all frats. The girls on their EC seem super committed to making the chapter better and improving their rep on campus. I would put DZ,ADPi and ASA in the same group. All 3 organizations are very different but all 3 also are decently involved on campus, genuinely enjoy their sisterhood and are moderately successful in on campus events like ACS, Rockathon and others. Overall accepting to most and don’t take themselves too seriously.

BOTTOM TIER

Stuck up and obsessed with their image. Gam and AOPi are cut from the same superficial cloth with the long difference being that AOPi is typically a bit classier. Holier than thou attitude is apparent during recruitment and you better be ready to talk about your faith and turn on your southern accent. Overall not very involved, not interested in anything besides the status being in a sorority gives them. So-so sisterhood. Some of their sisters actually like each other but others don’t. Not known for being super smart either, but def some of the prettiest girls on campus so...

BOTTOM TIER
By: 2020rank Posted:

If popularity, local connections and Instagram followers determined ranking, Gam would be top tier. If you wanted to rank based on actually having a sisterhood and values Gam is solid bottom tier. Most of these girls act like they hate the majority of their sisters and turn their noses up at anyone who isn’t in their organization or a frat that they deem acceptable. They care a lot more about frats than their sisterhood and if you weren’t popular in high school or from Murray/Paducah, don’t bother trying to become a part of this chapter. Gam and AOPi are cut from the same cloth but Gam is the louder, more annoying, less classy version.

MIDDLE TIER

This is the sorority is firmly middle tier. They typically place or do well at campus events, their philanthropy events are successful. Their members are involved on campus and typically have average or above average grades. Typically don’t have mid to low tier frats for Hoco partners. They had a great recruitment this year (recognized by international pres) and truly are one of the most accepting and genuinely loving sisterhood on campus. They might not all be super wealthy, stereotypical sorority girls but there is something to be said for being able to recruit based on something more than status. I don’t ever see them being top tier, they’re too genuine and not obsessed with their place on campus in the way that Gam, AOPi and ASA are. Over all not a bad chapter and def a good national organization to be a part of. Also let’s stop the trend of judging chapters based on what girls do at parties or if they get blackballed or not. Girls from every chapter on campus have been blackballed for plenty of stupid reasons.we can’t act like frat boys are always fair and reasonable creatures
