do freshmen live in the sorority houses?

It depends on the house, but some of the houses allow freshmen to move in second semester if they have room in the house. I know for sure that AGD and AOII allow freshmen to move in if there's room

To my knowledge most girls move in the year after they pledge because you have to live so many semesters in the house depending on what year you are when you pledge. Like if you pledge as a freshman then you have to live 6 semesters in, sophomores 4, and so on. There are exceptions to this but most follow this pattern.
