I'm in another chapter and I have messaged multiple times to tell the administrators of this site to put them on here. They deserve to be on here just as much as the national sororities. Maybe this site only wants nationals and no locals?

Yup, I'm in another sorority chapter on this campus too and while I don't have anything negative to say about them (there's lots of cool girls in XiOm!) I believe the reason Xi Omicron Iota isn't listed on here is because they aren't one of the 26 sororities recognized in the National Panhellenic Conference since they are unique to only Missouri State's campus. Look at any other school's page on here and they only list national chapters, not local ones. Kind of a shame but hey, at least they don't have to worry about trolls on GreekRank!

They are nice girls. And they are a great option if you don't get extra help from your parents to pay your dues. They are cheaper.

People treat them like they are not a part of greek life. They are considered outsiders but will be nice to your face.

Some people like them while others think they shouldnt be here. Honestly they are not really a part of greek life and never will be.

In this past year they've won BOTH greek week and homecoming. They're a bunch of really amazing girls. They have an awesome GPA, really fun FSL events and are really fun to party with. I always enjoy having them around. (Plus,there are some BEAUTIFUL girls in that chapter.)

Greeks will always prey on each other's differences, and Xi Om's is obvious- they're not a national chapter. But other than that, they're a great group of girls. I love being paired with them- they put in their time and they're genuinely nice fun people. Who cares if they're local?

I really like this sorority. Them being local shouldn't have anything to do with their rankings, they are still a part of the greek community. The girls that i've met are very nice, genuine, and not fake like some others.

I was very surprised to come across this bash fest. Xi Omicron Iota is a local sorority, which means they are currently only one chapter, which is how every single other fraternity and sorority in the nation started as well. They are leaders in PHA so you should give respect where it is due. A few sororities on campus talk down on them in their private meetings, but that is their problem, not xioms. The reason girls are drawn to xiom is because it is the best option for women who support themselves. That means it brought together self sufficient and hard working women.
