grades at msu

by: Worried Rusher

Hi, so I plan to rush at Missouri State this fall, and I'm really worried about grades. I'm currently going into school with a 2.87 high school gpa. I'm really not worried about grades in college, because my low gpa is mainly from my freshman and sophomore year, so please don't bring that up. I know I'll get cut from certain houses that really focus on grades immediately so if you could tell me what those are that'd be great. But overall do you think I really have a shot at rushing and getting a bid? I was involved in a lot of activities in high school also.

Hey don't worry about that so much! Fraternities like fiji, theta chi, pi kapp, and sigep might not let you in but most aren't that strict about incoming grades. Just join a more lay'd back fraternity and prove you can get good grades in college so they don't drop you lol. Try a good fun one that won't knock you right away for grades like TKE. They're really fun and on the rise with campus image, and basically I just love those guys so i'll always vouche for them. ❤️ Enjoy MSU and don't stress too much!

Thank you so much for your help! But which one is TKE? Sorry I'm so clueless when it comes to sorority stuff

Top grades houses are usually Alpha Delta Pi, Sigma Kappa, and Alpha Chi Omega. Although grades do matter, if your personality makes up for it then you still have a good chance at a top house. If you have a way to get any positive recommendations for those houses by girls currently in them, that would help a lot too. Good luck!
