new to greek life

I'm a first generation college student and I'm really interested in starting a tradition like this, and I was wondering if I could have some questions answered. When rushing, will sororities only be interested in people whose familie's already have a history with greek life? And how does housing work? Cost of things? What are your favorite and least favorite things about greek life at CSU?

Zero sororities at CSU will hold it against you if your family doesn't have a history with greek life. Most sororities offer housing, typically sophomores/juniors live in. Best way to get information is to stop into the FSL office and register for recruitment.
