I didn't hate KD during rush. Sure, a lot of them were awkward but seemed nice enough. I went to pref night and that's when I knew this wasn't the house for me. The girl kept touching me. Yes, touching me. She touched my leg and arms when she talked which is just super weird. She talked about how they were hoping for a huge pledge class since their numbers were low. It immediately made me feel like a number on the roster, not like they really wanted me.

The seniors are actually super great. They've dedicated a lot to their chapter and built it up. The newer members are absolutely destroying it. What's sad is that a lot of actives don't even know. The fall pledge class is unnecessarily cruel and entitled on campus, but doesn't show it at the house. I think KD is going to continue to have major issues in fall recruitment. The good is leaving with the graduating class.

Sisterhood is disconnected this year. They seemed to have a better handle in previous years. Of course, offering a bid to everyone will do that. It could work, but if you don't drop anyone, you're just going to have a house full of people who don't mesh with each other.

the KD's that I know that have been actives for over a year are actually great. the newest pledge class is an absolute disaster. a lot are very mean and don't really have much involvement in the chapter. it's not a huge surprise since KD is the only house that didn't make any cuts in formal recruitment 2016. the fall pledge class needs to get it together

I actually feel really badly for kappa. They've made some poor chapter decisions, but some of their members are really awesome. They have a problem with some unmotivated actives, which are ruining it for the whole chapter. I think if they spend a year or two rebuilding, they'll come back stronger!
