Yes, this is a self rank but I feel that I would like to say publically what I love about this chapter. We do not have a house, and personally I enjoy this; it keeps dues down and I get my own toilet. We are not bound to a dry house to live with dudes but this does not, in my opinion, in any sense affect brotherhood. The option of being able to hang out with brothers at multiple places without as many strict rules is a definite plus. While it is true that we give out a larger than average amount of bids it is also true that we only initiate PNMs that really connect with the chapter and enhance our college experience; it is our stance to not indoctrinate a person to a group where they will not fit in. With the hope they will eventually go on to find a different organization where they can really connect with the members and form meaningful relationships. I invite anyone to talk to any brother of FIJI on campus to personally get to know us to see what we are about.
