rush-sororities

I didn't rush this semester, but all my friends did and now I am wishing that I did. Is there rush again later in the spring for sororities (i know frats do that) or at the beginning of next semester? or would I have to wait to rush next year with the incoming freshman. Also, do sororities dirty rush at all or is that only frats too?

There's also informal rush coming up next week. I think AEPhi and Phi Sig are participating. There will be informal again in the fall but formal recruitment won't happen again for another year
