assessing tiers
by: confused, genuinelyI am not kidding when I say that the tiers at Miami are confusing. I have been trying to understand from a newcomer's perspective. You get caught up in the labels. I want to shop for the top label right?!! It's seriously a mind game. The products pretty much look the same. Like the noise and legacy of the names don't always stack up to the actual people in the tiers, here and now. I go around and see a mix of all types in all tiers. Stunner in lower, basic plain in upper, on trend in middle, brainy in upper... you get it. Like seriously I scan the highlight reel that each posts on social media and still it's - ok so you're all a scramble of everything. I actually like this. Don't get me wrong. But, that's why I wonder why people are so set and live and die by the tiers they have burned into their brains. I will take it as, it is what you make it. I think it's always going to be a gamble every class and from an outside perspective - you die-hard upper tiers do not look so different to an outsider. Sorry. But, it's good news in the end. Be who you are and chances are there are others like you too in all tiers. Good luck all!

Here's the deal. Decide what you are looking for. There are sororities all over the Gpa ranks, and all over the philanthropy hours and in all kinds of clubs. If the majority of girls Are good looking and confident and if they party with the supposed top frats -- that makes you top tier. Not if you right long winded explanations on why you aren't

or maybe, it's another childish and uninspired one-liner from an insecure poster desperately clinging to protecting "the tiers" (wait which list though), as an unhealthy measure of value for themself? right. shocking to see on here. about as compelling as the popular "accurate" or "false" anonymous weigh ins.
if all tiers keep saying they're better than others they think it'll be truth if enough people keep posting the same thing. we're the best because...and everyone who is anyone knows it. temper tantrum - we're still/now the top, right??? right??? everyone knows it... post to agree guys.
this site is totally based on good info. an anonymous site with no fact checking must reflect what every sentient being at miami believes as truth. no hidden agendas. with a potential swing of 100% margin of error on any given day.
the point being - there's a mix in all sororities and the actual scene and vibe is not always in line with the tiers. it's a mix in all. find your best match and chances are you'll be happy.
