i've had a perfect recruitment so far

Everybody told me this was so competitive but I haven't been dropped at all so far. Am I in for a big shock next round? Or was the competitiveness exaggerated?

I don't think what she said was so bad. She realizes she might be in for a shocker, and she might. But she might also get all the top houses. we will see.

Last year I had my top 11 for second. Then I had 6 the next round. Tops and middles and 3 for pref. 2 I loved and one not so much. Got my first choice and love it. Getting all your sororities back second round is not a big deal. Grades, Recs and legacies rule

I know plenty of girls who had a "perfect rush" and got their first pick.

Not common, but not unheard of. I only got cut from one house that I didn't care for during sisterhood round. Had my top three in my pref. Good luck, I hope it works out in your favor.

Most of the people who get into top houses didn't get dropped by the other houses. So you are in the top 15%. You are probably really attractive. It is what it is.
