It just depends on each sorority's return rate, top tier usually ask back a lot less each round because they have that ability.

This has been answered before. Based on historical return rates sororities ask back a certain percent. Some 30% and some 75%. This allows a pnms to placed in all sororities and not just hold out hope for certain ones
