so after today my top choices are still Gamma Phi and DZ. Gamma Phi is a solid middle tier sorority but they seem really fun, but DZ is top tier so should i just go DZ? They seem to be a little different, both with pretty girls but different personalities. I know it's still early on in rush but i think i like those two the best. Is it bad if i want to go Gphi? i feel like if i have the opp to go top tier i should....

go with what you want, not based on the tier system. A lot of my friends chose status over sisterhood and they ended up either dropping or being miserable.

You should not be picking your sorority based on their perceived status. I know so many girls that only wanted a bid from a top tier and ending up being miserable once they got in because they never really made the connection they wanted to. It is totally not bad to go to the sorority that you really want to be in, no matter who they are. Focus on how you feel with the girls & choose the place where you feel the most comfortable!!! i rushed a top tier sorority and i was absolutely miserable. i thought what i wanted was status but in the end everyone was too self absorbed and cliquey. they say trust the process, but forget that. trust your gut. you know in your heart where you belong and where you will be happy. like gphi? go gphi! like tri delt? go tri delt.

Give it up. You are the same geed on here over and over. They aren't Alpha Phi hot, I'll give you that . But they are top tier. But I really doubt you are in any top or even middle tier sorority. You are just the same butt hurt girl over and over.

bumping this bc this is important. Girls get super fired up bc sororities are marked as "top" and that shouldn't be the reason for joining. You should join a sorority where you feel at home and you think you can really connect with the girls. This is college-social hierarchies are so middle school.
