I got asked back to 5 top tier houses but no middle tier, I'm just confused how it happened.

Every sorority has a different voting system and a different girl they're looking for. Likely you didn't meet GPA, aren't in a lot of clubs, or were bad at conversation. Top houses tend to cut based on appearance but it could also just be a coincidence.

the same thing literally happened to me and I'm a little worried...i have a good gpa and everything so im just as confused

To the poster insinuating top tiers have lower gpa requirements and basically lower standards, with the exception of looks, you know better than that. Top tiers are looking for well rounded girls in addition to good looks/image, so your rational is off. To OP, best of luck to you, I'm sure you'll land someplace fabulous, just remember to stay open minded and keep as many options available to you as you can!

Fall 2015 grade report is out. Look it up on cliff Alexander web site. May surprise some people . Also sorority members of all chapters are in all kinds of clubs throughout Miami. Original responder sounds salty

Take a look everyone, it says a lot about Miami Greek Life! Every single sorority has a sold b average! No A's, but some of us are working on that!

The Gpa list can give you an idea of how much scholarship is cared about. That is only one factor in choosing a house. Good job to Greek members

They are ALL really, really good! Way to go Theta! I worked so hard to get a 3.0 last semester so I could rush wherever I want. Was feeling pretty good about myself until I saw on website that sororities range from 3.19-3.5. Realize those are averages and some girls did better and some did worse, but damn, we are basically talking averages of 86%-90%. Super impressive!
