only info I've heard about their comeback was a Miami student article in September. If there is some place to find out more info I'd like to know.

How many people that went through rush didn't choose a house? There were over 900 going through. Would be interested to see what a new house starting could pull into a pledge class. I imagine there are people interested I building something V's just going top tier. Kinda like people who start businesses V's people who work for top companies.

Person labeled PNM, you have to accept a bid tomorrow at 5pm so If that's what you want to do i'd the call the number above to find out more info or contact someone who knows the plan. Either is a big commitment. Also if you find out something you should post it here...thx

I'd think they could pull together a wide variety of people who either suicided one house during formal rush or weren't interested in what currently exists. If the nationals are looking for leaders I'd imagine they'd have a say in who represents the chapter with their first new class.

Their nationals will be all over them for a while. Rush will be done by people from their nationals which means the top priority will be GPA, on and off campus involvement, etc. I doubt they will be "good" in terms of "tiers" for a while.

I sent an email to Desmond Robinson this morning and he responded a few hours later with this:
"We will begin contacting students once we have launched our formal recruitment on Feb 28"

Sig nu is taking over the house and the name... Yes you read that right they will literally become sig chi because they aren't recognized by miami or nationals so basically they're just their own entity at this point. Sorry to those of you looking to rush the house and no this isn't bs its gone thru ifc and confirmed.

Wrong. Once you've been initiated into a chapter under their letters you will NEVER be able to be initiated as a Sigma Chi (or any other national fraternity). Sigma Nu likely views their members as alumni.

This is 100% confirmed that the return is in the Spring. If you're interested email Des Robinson at Sigma Chi. He's running the process. Doubt you'll have to deal with hazing and you'll be members with people who want to build something together. Not to mention be a part of one of the strongest national fraternities.
