Everyone asks about hazing. Hazing is not that terrible anywhere. If being a pledge and having obligations to get to know all the brothers in the house and your pledge brothers is hazing to you, then they all haze. Pledges are low on the totem pole and don't get the privilege of membership and the brotherhood until they earn it. Sometimes it's painful to earn it, but not physically. Some houses put more pressure to truly earn the right of entry, which is not a bad thing.
