fraternity bid questions?
by: RushingWith the formal rush, how soon after visiting fraternity houses do they extend bids? Do they get extended through the end of rush or do most come earlier? Is it ok wait until the end to accept a bid? I plan on attending different houses each night and not revisiting. Is that good? I received a quick bid form a decent house but I don't know many people and want to wait and see if one comes from another chapter.

After rush ends fraternities will vote on who they extend bids to - usually about til like 1 or 2 am. If you don't receive a bid and they don't call you back, you might want to try a different house the next night. It's perfectly ok to sit on a bid til the end of the week. If you don't know many people maybe try going back and meeting people before you make a decision.
