recs?
by: Just wonderingHow important are recommedations/letters of support here? I know rush here is competitive and at a lot of other competitive schools like those in the SEC they are absolutely imperative.

It's very competitive to get into a sorority (especially a good one) at Miami, but not in the way the south is. Family history/letter of recs are not really that important when identifying who we are going to take. There is more weight on how you present yourself to us during rush and if you appear put together/normal/social/wealthy on social media. It's pretty easy to spot someone who will be a good fit. A major component is looks. So if you're outgoing and appear cool and also are gorgeous then you'll be set for a good sorority here
