sorority rush

The girls here make it seem like it's as hard, but it's really not. You don't need nearly the same amount referrals, connections, and/or money that you would in the south.

Unless any sorority wants to step it up and say pnm's are required to submit their parents income statements, our rush will be nowhere near as selective.

It's just as competitive, but waaay different standards. Recommendations, legacies, family background etc are not as important at Miami. Miami girls pretty much make the decisions for themselves. Family History and family connections are not so important. What's important at Miami is you and your own friends/achievements, and how you present yourself and how you will represent your sorority.
