i don't get the hype about alpha phi
by: don't get itI'm going through rush in a couple of months. And people keep telling me I should want Alpha Phi. Even my friends from other schools. I've met some. I've seen their social media. Am I missing something?

I just watched their recruitment video on youtube. Bunch of average looking girls throwing around leaves. The only thing that could have been more basic would be to go watch them drinking pumpkin spice lattes. I too am confused as to why I'm supposed to want them so badly. I suppose I will go through recruitment and find out.

Oh no doubt, it was definitely basic and cheesy. I'm not disagreeing. But the girl who wrote that comment isn't a freshman, it's a sorority girl who saw the video last year and got cut from aphi during recruitment and is salty. Also, being basic has nothing to do with how good a sorority is. If that was the case then none of the top 6 would be top sororities haha. This entire school has more basic girls than girls at every other college in the country.

They are not "the top" sorority. They are a top sorority (meaning top tier/top 6) but they aren't the top. sorry. just not true.

They are THE top sorority at Miami. They only other sorority that comes close to being as good as alpha phi is theta, but they had a really bad year last year. If I'm wrong I'd love to hear your opinion on who you think is number one hahaha

Well that's insulting to every sorority girl here. If you don't think a sorority like alpha phi is good enough for you, then does that make every other sorority way below you too? What sorority do you think is so great, or are they all crappy to you? You insult one of the top 3 now but chances are they will cut you along with Theta, PiPhi, DG, etc after the first round haha.

You're not a freshman. You are the same person on this post trying way too hard posting over and over again because you're upset alpha phi will have the highest return rates this year and handpick the best girls again. Focus on improving your sorority instead of being jealous on greekrank.

I highly doubt that you're a freshman but if you are, you'll be able to find out who the best sorority is or who the top 2/3 sororities are in the first round of rush. You can do plenty of research on the sororities or you can go into it clueless, but it's so obvious who's the best after a couple rounds that it's hardly even debatable. Just be patient and go through rush and see for yourself. I've heard PiPhi got a great class but in my opinion everyone wants to be a Theta or Alpha Phi all of rush until they get cut.
