Once again posting this because it's based on the stats that just came out, not on opinion, because facts are facts. Here are the sororities in order of # of community service hours for the spring 2015 semester

Tons of people care. When I went through rush I would've never ever picked a sorority that didn't care about philanthropy or grades. Some girls don't care and that's totally fine. But plenty do, and that's the deal breaker for some PNMs going through rush picking their top 3. You wanna surround yourself with people that care about the same things you do.

No this takes into account any hours spent in clubs around campus, doing community service, etc

It does not, you are wrong. Can promise you it does not include cheerleading, club sports, volunteering personally (not through the sorority). ie 4 paws, best buddies etc. How do
I know? I'm involved in two of the above and nobody in my sorority knows my involvement or time commitment. I don't do it for "hours or recognition", I do it for the love and passion I feel towards my sport/organization. My
point is, sorority hours "logged" don't quantify actual involvement. They only reflect what a sorority reports, and some sororities way more concerned about image than others. Does not make them better. Sorry ladies!

You're trying to overcompensate so hard for not being involved. Also, individual members report the number of hours done and a certain amount has to be completed bc of Panhellenic.

Don't think so, that's silly. I do my panhellenic hours, then after that my involvement is on me. I'm super involved, but why would I report my personal "hours of involvement" to my sorority? I'm not doing it for approval, it's my life. I have my sorority life, and my own life. Think it's crazy to report my hours of involvement so my sorority looks better to others on paper. Sorry...

What about hours in business and other professional greek organizations Or student government etc etc. grades can easily be ranked, how much your sorority is involved on campus is completely differnt than how many self reported philanthropy hours you say you did. Personally, I like the fact that my chapter is involed all
