frat housing

by:

Since Miami has literally no room for incoming freshmen, wouldn't it make more sense to let the frats that are not allowed to live in their house, to live in their house?? Instead of taking up dorm space??

Actually that's not true. Was explained to us that not having houses is a long standing "brothel" belief, but untrue. According to Miami, girls don't have houses because they don't want them. Pretty plain and sime. Brother rule does NOT apply too miaimi...

Person above is right, I can't believe people still believe the brothel thing lol. All the other Ohio colleges like OSU and OU and UC have sorority houses so that's false. It's because miami not only doesn't have enough land for 16 sorority houses, but all the sororities signed a contract like 50 years ago that they would live in the suites. The sororities' nationals love it cause it keeps the sororities out of trouble and on campus, and Miami loves it cause they're making tooooons of money by keeping that many girls in dorms every year.

I agree with you guys above. Brothel thing is kinda dead but wasn't it why the contract was signed 50 years ago? Now we're like the only school that still follows it. I just think we should let the sororities have houses now if we need the space. I'm sure their nationals would help them renovate an old house or something.
