pnms, read this!

by: peacenluv

First of all, if you're a PNM, this site is not the greatest place to be... But I know that I came on here before recruitment because I thought it would give me accurate information about sororities and their rankings.

I'm not trying to say that rankings don't exist because people will always say that they do and claim that they are better than others. But some things to take away:

1) EVERY HOUSE has beautiful girls. Take the most attractive girls in the bottom sorority, and they could be in a "top" sorority. Same goes for unattractive girls... EVERY HOUSE has girls that aren't as cute. Take the "least attractive" girls from a top house and they could go in a bottom house.

2) EVERY HOUSE has smart girls. EVERY HOUSE has dumb girls.

3) EVERY house has involved girls. EVERY house has classy girls. EVERY house has party girls.

If you break down each house's girls and they are no different.

EVERY house is amazing and filled with amazing girls and sisterhood. Who cares which house is the "hottest" or the "best" or the "smartest" or the "classiest" or the "most involved"?

Being in one sorority does not make you superior to a girl in another sorority. Once you leave Miami, no one will care.

PNMs - you would be LUCKY to join any sorority!!!!! You are not above any sorority. They are all filled with amazing girls. If you, for some strange reason, believe that you are above a certain sorority, please reevaluate.

sororities as much as we don't want to admit it are all the same and do the same exact things. don't look at this site if you're a freshman. you are wasting your time.

No I'm pretty sure ChiO and PiPhi are nothing alike. You can't argue that. And that's just one example. They don't do the same things or value the same things. Get out of here with trying to trick PNMs.

There's a pretty good chance I'm dropping my sorority this fall because everyone is annoying and I genuinely don't like anyone. However I get along amazing with my freshman roommate's sorority and my best friends are all in that sorority. It's a bunch of BS that you're saying they're all the same. While there are great girls in every sorority blah blah that's true, you still need to find your home.

Actually, I'm guessing there are girls in ChiO that would fit in just fine with Pi Phi, and girls in Pi Phi that would fit in just fine with ChiO. Not all girls in any given sorority are the same. Yes, the sororities have very different values/reputations, but the rush experience is quick, shallow and based on image, and very few freshman actually know what they are committing to.You actually have very little control where you end up and need to make the most of it. I know party girls in ChiO, and very smart girls in Pi Phi. You can say the sororities have different values, but you can't say every girl in each sorority has the same values as one another, because they don't. Whatever sorority you join you will find girls with similar interests and values as you.

Love this! Any one who disagrees with this needs to either grow up, or go back to high school. Great girls in every sorority! Just because you are in a certain sorority does not mean you fall in to that particular sororities stereotype. Wonderful girls everywhere!

Uhh are you kidding? Of course there are great girls in every sorority but the point made above is completely right. They're not all the same, they have completely different vibes and it's so important to find the right fit.
