party rules

Does anyone know if IFC passed the rule forcing 3rd party vendors for registered parties? It also would make annex parties need to be registered. I know in reality it would make all house parties underground and registered would be uptown but it would be annoying. Panhell passed it cause they don't throw any parties anyway

I'm in a sorority and the way it was explained to me was that it would make things easier for us? Like say now there's an unregistered fraternity social at an annex and a girl gets so drunk she goes to the hospital... Then the fraternity gets screwed cuz it was an underground party. But now that it's registered and there's technically sober monitors there, it would just be the girls fault? I'm not positive, but just how it was explained to me. I hope that's how it is at least... Hopefully with hodge leaving too we get a new president that is more accepting of Greek life
