Agreed. Kappa Delta was founded based on the tenets of grace, class, and humility that require a certain upbringing. Furthermore, they do not feel the need to boast about their families wealth with ostentatious clothing and cars like some other sororities. Check your facts before you make certain statements about KD.

that is disgusting. SO basically you just said that you only take girls with money, which is funny because I know plenty of girls in KD and the reason they don't brag about their family's wealth is because they dont come from any. Most people at miami have money lets not kid ourselves, but I dropped KD as soon as i possibly could, it was awkward and dull. I come from the south where OLD MONEY is found and these girls are not from old money families! Some nice girls but overall awkward bunch! who rank themselves!

It's obvious that some pathetic sororities are getting on this website, writing things that are supposedly KD's, when no Kappa Delta would write that stuff, talking about how great they are and top tier. Be realistic when reading comments. And to other sororities - Stop pretending to be KD and writing on our wall, it's just silly.

I can assure you that the vast majority of KDs here at MIami come from old money families. What you're saying is absolutely obtrocious. We hold southern values and highly emphasize class in our chapter. We're not DZ.

Kappa Delta emphasizes and does many things that other sororities/chapters do not. Things such as involvement outside philanthropies as well as hands-on with the actual philanthropy, and enforcing etiquette rules, etc.

Yes, a very strict sorority.. hence, very southern in essence. They do enforce etiquette rules and are very classy girls. At the same time, they are very sweet and overall wonderful. They take pride in their philanthropies, more than any other chapter here on campus. They are also high achievers in the classroom.
