Teach for America is horrendous. My sister is a real teacher and they HATE Teach for America teachers. They are the worst teachers out there, and they are people who couldn't get real jobs in the real world, so they join TFA. They are a complete joke and it really makes you look desperate that you couldn't get a real job. All the real teachers will hate you cause you devalue their training, and undermine the teacher's unions and education in this country in general. Trust me - Don't do it. It is really a bad set up. Plus they will make you lie about how well your students do so they can act like Teach For America is working.

I can't believe those creepy Teach For America recruits have the nerve to step on our campus. This is school with integrity and dignity. Teach for America is none of those things. It is a really horrible organization that siphons federal money out of schools and puts it back in with this creepy program. It really is rooted in evil. Show some class and don't go near those people. Also, if you had your act together you would get a real job. If you really wanted to be a teacher, you would go that route properly.

I can afford to take a real trip, I don't need to engage in Cultural Tourism/ Colonialism and objectify poor children of color and pretend I'm doing it to "close the achievement gap." I'm not a tool - I got a real job. If I wanted to be a teacher, I'd go to real training.

Don't embarrass our entire school and Greek system by joining that organization. Remember you are ALWAYS wearing your letters. That organization is foul.

I'd rather get a job as pole dancer. At least it is honest and doesn't exploit children and poor people.

Harvard no longer lets them on their campus, so that should tell you something.
