by: WowAfter hearing from so many pnms tonight what alpha phi has done, I know so many sweet and gorgeous girls who were absolutely heartbroken and betrayed because of dirty rushing. Thank god they are finding homes elsewhere. Alpha Phi I hope your attempt to social climbs smacks you in the face and I honestly wish you nothing but the worst luck in your new pledge class. I'm glad I didn't deal with this when I rushed.

The Greek community is supposed to be supportive of each other. This is mean and hurtful. It isn't their fault that girls love them during rush, they don't pick their return and cut rates... They aren't going to be mean to girls during rush if they don't like them. Recruitment is all about making the girls feel welcomed and wanted, whether you see them in your sorority or not, which the seem to be pretty good at. They didn't do anything wrong you are clearly just jealous

It's one thing to make them feel welcomed and wanted, but it's entirely different to tell them that they would be a good fit there and stuff like that, then cut them. Bid promising is a very fine line. We aren't even allowed to say things like "See you later" because it implies that the girl will be coming back.

Interesting, looks like "the whole campus" doesn't include the freshman considering the rush they had and their new pledge class hahaha

^^^ giving girls the impression they really want them back, is normal. I get that and think it's petty everyone is bashing them for it. But they did dirty rush by texting girls and releasing their recruitment video before rush started.
