sorority comments

I'm soph who rushed in Jan too and I thought the cuts were incredibly harsh for sophomores rushees I'm not sure why because sophomores are more mature than freshman and have alot to give to a sorority. Plus they've thought about it for a whole year and know a sorority is something they want to be a part of. I would have loved to have gotten a bid from AXO, Alpha Phi, DG or Kappa because I felt like I had alot in common with them. They all cut me and I'm in a different sorority which is fine, but I still think I probably have more in common with the sororities that cut me than I do with the one I ended up joining. But at least I have a sorority because I really feel bad for my friend who pledged Tri Delt who doesn't have a sorority at all now.

I realize that everyone has something bad to say about every sorority, especially when it comes to the top tier. But BEING in a top tier sorority there really is no top 4 anymore, its more like top 6: axo piphi dg aphi dz theta, not necessarily in that order but regardless. And the Theta deal? I will say this, Theta you may be a good sorority but based on what we rank top tier by, you're not as popular with the boys as you used to be... unless you think Beta is the best frat... sorry.

OK, this is completely hilarious. I stumbled on here looking for an old sorority sister's contact info. I graduated in the early 90s and was rush chair for a "top tier", which was very clearly the following 6 sororities - AXO, DG, Kappa, Pi Phi, Theta and Tri Delt. The "top tier" has been an ongoing argument for what, 65 years or so? Enjoy these years, ladies - you'll laugh your head off at the silliness of it all as you get older.
