I agree with the Long paragraph about KD, gamma phi, phi mu, and chi. KD does have come awkward girls but I do think they have some fun girls as well. Gamma phis are a lot of fun And chi o's along with AOPi are smart sororities.

Gamma Phi does not appear on one top ten list. On the other hand, KD is expected to and always does make an appearance on those lists. KD is a REALLY great organization, and no one can say otherwise on that. Comparing KD and Gamma Phi is like comparing apples to oranges.

As for these stereotypes, do you know every member of these sororities you generalize? I'll answer that for you: no. If you did, you would take back all things that you've said. Every sorority has its "awkward" members, its more attractive members, its studious members, etc. And, I can tell you (since I know all of them) that the majority of KDs are in fact NOT awkward. Instead, they're a blast to be around, and are super stylish.

Ladies looking to rush, discredit the negative combat on this site; it stems from the insecure girls of the sororities. You'll learn that the best way to enter the Greek world is to think for yourself. Best of luck!

Wow! You must have gone off your meds! You state that the "negativity" on this site stems from insecurity but then YOU go on to script a manifesto about how wonderful KD is!!??!! Secure, popular strong chapters don't have to spend their summer selling everyone on their sorority!

Stating how wonderful a sorority is does not equal being negative.

I think the kappa delta girls are all really pretty and very sweet.

It must be part of KD's new member program requirements to constantly be promoting themselves as a top chapter. This has been going on forever and NOTHING has changed for KD except they have pissed everyone off. Just stop KD. You get the leftovers and you know it. Personally I think ChiO and Phi Mu are above you. And you certainly aren't on par with Kappa, Pi Phi, Zeta or GPhi.

Does anyone know why the KD chapters at several big Greek systems were forced to close? (Baylor, Arizona State, etc.)
