not at all.. a good rush is when you get asked back to the sororities that you want and receive a bid from who you pref. It doesn't mean if you get a bid from a "1st tier" sorority.. honestly I would have deactivated if I was in one of them

A good rush is getting a bid from a sorority that you like and that wants you as a sister. I spent last fall thinking I was going to pledge my legacy chapter. I was shocked when I was cut from them and from most of the other chapters I thought I wanted to join. I thought about dropping out of rush but didn't and ended up in a great sorority. My mom and I got over the disappointment of not being sisters because we decided it was better for me to belong to a sorority that wanted me instead of one that didn't. In all fairness, my legacy chapter probably knew I wouldn't fit in with them. That's fine, I'm happy where I am. I just wanted to make sure girls going through rush in January know that just because you're a legacy doesn't mean that you're going to get a bid from that sorority. Fortunately Miami has 17 great sororities.

who was your legacy chapter?

I don't want to say the specific chapter, but it's usually listed in the first or second tier on the lists on this site. Also, I know lots of other girls who were cut from their legacy chapters, so my situation wasn't that unusual. Like I said though, I'm happy in the sorority I'm in so it's all good.

why such hate?? who's to honestly prove which sorority a girl is in anyway?? who the f knows. you don't know for a fact who said what and one day is a pretty long time span. stop blaming specific sororities for anonymous posts, this is getting ridiculous

i'm a freshman and i'm wondering... do sororities look at grades during rush?? what kind of gpa do you have to get to be in a good sorority?? i'm like failing calc right now, just wondering...

as long as you're above a 3, you're good

you're "get a life" saying is getting old on EVERY single sororities posts...

and if it was 4 in the morning and you posted then AND an hour later, whos the one who really needs to get a life? just an observation.
