To sum it up simply: If you get a bid to DG, AXO, DZ, Theta or APhi you'll be on top of the world.
If you get a bid to ZTA, GPHI, Kappa or Pi Phi you'll always feel like you just missed the boat.
If you get a bid to Phi MU, XO or KD you'll always feel a little embarrassed to wear your letters but you will because you don't want anyone to know you're embarrassed.
If you get a bid to anything else you'll probably deactivate.

This is a reply to a post (posted quite a while ago). It read:
"That's not fair how some of us are "just" on the bottom. We work so hard during Greek week and it's just not fair how we pay so much money to be in a sorority and I feel like I'm not getting anything out of it. Like, yeah, I have friends but it sucks going to class and there's an AXO next to you and you can't help but envy the girl. I'm just being honest. Like yeah I love my sorority and all, but I'm just wondering if anyone else feels the same way. Is it even possible to move up?"
Generally, I try to stay off this website (or keep my comments to a minimum and just observe). But this comment struck me because I understand EXACTLY what you're going through. I'm now 23 years old and I should have graduated last year. But I didn't. Because exactly what you're going through right now ATE ME ALIVE. Can I just give you some advice? Be happy with the sorority you're in and suck it up. Appreciate it. Trust me, after college...

IT WILL NOT MATTER despite what you think. Have fun, go to your formals and smile as an AXO or DG flaunts her drunken weekend and all-around amazingness in front of you during class. Seriously, just suck it up. Or you will end up like me... and, trust me, you don't want to end up like me. So appreciate the sorority you're in and just ignore everything on this site. I hate to be so frank, but there's nothing you can do.
