to any freshmen wondering if miami is your "home" - don't get thrown off by the negativity and drama on this site. a year ago i went through rush as an OOS student and really didn't feel "at home" at miami until now. a semester of living with your sisters in the corridor is really what sealed the deal for me and now i absolutely cannot imagine being anywhere else. i used to look at my friends back home who all go to the same college and be soo jealous of how much it seemed like they love their school. now there is no better feeling than feeling that way about oxford. rush is an intense and grueling process and you will get cut from houses that you loved. but just stick it out, trust the process, and realize that good things take time! it is beyond worth it. good luck! <3
