bid week parties

there were a lot of problems last yr with bid week parties since they are all underground, which isn't allowed (undergrounds are when you don't go through panhel/ifc and go to a fraternity house). a lot of new members went to the hospital last year & one was found passed out in the snow. Hodge got pissed & threatened to get rid off greek life. also, 2 years ago, that's how fuzzie got kicked off again, one of their new members went to the hospital. so basically, it will prob still happen but the university is prob going to crack down

Not sure what you are referring to. There are "pledge parties" the very first week back that fraternities hold - they invite guys they are interested in bidding and hot sorority girls to wow the pledges into rushing them. There are also parties that fraternities throw after bid day that are socials with specific sororities and their new pledge classes. Either way, there is no "published list" for everyone to see. You'll either be invited to a pledge party as a guy they're interested in bidding or you'll be invited to the socials because you will have accepted your fraternity bid, and will therefore be working the party.
