My parents gave me details. Here is how it played out. In 1992 Miami moved srat rush from August before classes started to January. Many middle and lower tier srats had benefited from the fact that pnms did not know tiers and went where they fit but they now started cutting many mid/lower chapters. Lower middle tier srats SK, AGD, Phi Mu and ZTA slowly started declining and eventually left. Only ZTA and Phi Mu returned. Lower tier srats ASA and SSS who had been on campus for decades left for good.

Also the only lower mid srars to survive the next decade were KD, ADPi,and A phi. Yes, Alpha Phi was lower mid at least half their existence at Miami.
