Pnm need advice
by: SojodjdjxkHey guys I’m a sorority pnm. I’m so nervous about rush and I do want to get a bid back. Is there a way I can ensure myself a bid?? I’m so nervous and feel so unprepared. I do want maybe a “good” sorority but don’t even know what that entails. Any advice??

My dear sweet child … if you attend every recruitment party to which you receive an invite AND you maximize your options after preference round (what some would say “don’t $uicide Bid”) you will get a bid. It may not be your first choice sorority, but it will be a guaranteed bid.
Now you can be dropped from recruitment entirely prior to preference round. Getting dropped by all sororities is rare because each sorority is looking for different qualities in new members. If you get dropped by all sororities it is usually because your grades are bad or you have “issues” (for example, you were rude to a sorority during a recruitment party, or you peed in a urinal on barstool).
Now, a “good sorority” is in the eye of the beholder. One sorority may reward high grades while another requires attendance at a fraternity mixer on a random Tuesday at midnight. Some partner with national charities and others are more “loose” with what happens to the dollars they raise. To be honest, all the sororities here do basically the exact same thing. Formals, frat mixers, sisterhood events, big/little, moms/dads weekend - every sorority does the same thing.
All the sororities here are good sororities - the best sorority is the one that is best for you.
