Okay I'm the original poster and how important do you think social media is when it comes to getting a bid, like would it make or break you? I don't have anything bad on my profile but I feel like I should make it private

Sisters don't really hardcore creep on Facebook until rush tbh and it's really only on the girls that they really liked. At least that's how it worked in my sorority this past year (I would say mine is middle-tier). I'd say you don't need to make it private, just make sure you're not an idiot about what goes on there. First semester it's kinda easy to accidentally get pictures with alcohol and stuff on there so just be careful of that- sororities want to make sure they take girls that won't get them into trouble.

In my experience, it's not like we creep on the Miami Accepted page and add girls.. It's more like if a girl from your high school, or the friend of a friend seems like someone you would want, you creep on her facebook. In all honesty I think it'd be a little weird to spend all that time creeping on random girls.

Oh I was talking mostly about instagram/twitter and everyone else on here seems more worried about Facebook. Should I be worried about creeping on insta and stuff?

I find this hard to believe.. I'm in a sorority usually considered top and we all know a few girls coming in every year but we don't know a substantial amount of girls until sprite dates
