freshman
by: recruitmentI will be an incoming freshman next year and I've seen that people on here say that sororities will cut you because you're not what they're looking for. so i was wondering if someone could give me an honest opinion of what each sorority is looking for without any personal bias?

"What they are looking for" is private, members only, membership selection, information. You aren't going to find out more without being a member of a specific group. Good grades, active in extracurriculars, and personable and friendly. That's about as generic as one can get, and applies to all of the sororities.

Like the above posters said, membership selection is private and different for each sorority. And different girls within chapters will feel differently about girls (one girl may love you and another may just think you're okay). But having a great GPA, being involved, being energetic and confident are always good qualities. Don't try to fit a certain chapter's stereotype-- for the most part they don't accurately represent a chapter, and it's also so easy to tell when girls aren't being genuine
