Sorority rank using measurable data

method: obtain data on sororities locally and nationally, and for each metric assigned a number between 1 and 18 to each chapter on each metric (for example, the chapter with most IG followers got a “1”, least got an “18”). Then totaled scores for each sorority. Categories ranked include, but are not limited to, grades, recruitment, IG followers, philanthropy, and cost.
result: most of the sororities are really not that different. (in alpha order by row)

Okay but that’s the whole thing. This is basically just a national ranking not Miami. It uses data which doesn’t take into consideration how the chapter functions on Miami specifically. DG only has 500 followers and a history of problems. Thats why they can’t be top ON MIAMI SPECIFICALLY. And besides that then PiPhi would be way higher. This is a BS ranking with no real data or research.

Pi Phi still has low or non-existent local metrics. This rank is mostly local metrics. The national metrics really only benefit ADPi and ChiO, and the national metrics really only hurt AXO.

Find me any rank on this site with data behind it. This one actually makes sense. And it makes sense to at least consider some national data because when you look for a job, you don’t want your sorority to be a joke on your resume.

This is so fake none of this makes sense. Pi Phi would be like upper mid based off these stats and so would Tridelta. Besides some sororities are crazy big in the south and practically unheard of in the North. You very clearly made this up unless you can show the CSV file you used to analyze this “data”

You can find recruitment, membership and gpa on Miami’s Greek life page. IG data is easy to find. You can get other metrics from office of Greek life. National sorority data is easy to find. We have to get out of the space where a sorority is judged only by what frat they hang with and instead focus on does your sorority give its members a good overall experience.

I agree! I think it’s hilarious that people are outraged over “fake ranks” and demanding data when in fact all the rankings are fake. Just getting upset cause they know that their sorority has nothing really going for it.

some of the traditional “tops” have pretty good gpas. aphi used to have the worst grades but now that’s fuzzie.

“Pretty good” one would think gpa at a university would be one of the top metrics for female excellence. Can’t figure out what’s driving these tiers but it’s not gpa.
