by: real questionsJust curious - how do sororities feel about "alternative" styles i.e. colored hair, piercings, tattoos? Would most sororities be able to look past it and see my personality or is it important to have a more mainstream look?

A lot of people are going to comment saying how tolerant and accepting they are but this is a completely honest reply...It will probably play a huge role. Sororities are unfortunately very superficial and shallow and you'll most likely be cut by a majority of them with all that stuff. I'm sorry girl

I know lots of girls with small tattoos, and having multiple ear piercings or a small nose piercing won't be a big deal. But if it's anything too tacky or noticeable it will hurt you.

It's really sad, but it's true. A lot of sororities will judge you for it just because they're obsessed with a particular image.
