DG recharter rumor

Hearing rumors DG’s nationals are planning on removing their charter and rebuilding the local chapter from the ground up similar to what DKE did 6 years ago. Things have gotten way too out of hand and they have proven they can’t operate to their standards anymore. A fresh restart could be a good thing.

As a member who holds a leadership position I want to shut this rumor down. Nothing has been decided yet, it was something that’s been in discussion with our nationals and I can promise we will do what it takes to prevent and convince our nationals not to make this happen. We are trying our best to reorganize locally and solve the issues without having to completely recharter.

Everyone currently in DG/who accepts a bid from DG is no longer recognized by nationals or the school. Everyone’s membership is revoked. Then next year DG nationals work closely at starting up the sorority from scratch again as something brand new.

I find this hilarious because DG could have prevented all of this with one simple apology and getting rid of a senior girl who’s gone by May anyways. And the girl could of prevented all this as well by dropping out but she’d rather see it all go down in shambles
