DG Explanation.
by: mutual
This is based on what Grace has been telling friends in her hometown. Heard through a mutual friend that I am positive has been friends with her for a long time.
Grace's side of the story she has been telling people is that the text was sent by her roommate, Brennan, using her Macbook when she wasn't in her room. Supposedly, the text wasn't sent to a PNM, just one of Brennan's friends from another school, and she shared the screenshot in multiple group messages not expecting it to be posted and blow up everywhere. When it started getting shared online a few days later things got way out of hand. The reason DG was able to clear Grace so quickly, and why they stick by the text being fake is because Brennan is on their standards board and knew it went too far. This is also why they are sticking with it being fake and you haven't heard any more news. Supposedly, Brennan has been trying to get back at Grace all year with petty little pranks because she was upset about her taking her room this year and making her move to a shared room. It seems like this was a dumb revenge prank that got way out of hand. It also explains DGs behavior, and how they were able to prove so quickly without letting us know what proof they saw. It also explains the lack of information that followed and why they just want this covered up and gone.
Again this is what Grace has been telling her friends back home. Not sure how much we can believe it, but it does add up. This whole thing was cruel, and if it is a lie, then Grace keeps throwing more people under the bus. But personally it is a logical explanation to me.

Are DGs on here giving sob stories as a last resort???
Maybe people would’ve felt bad for the innocent girls in your sorority if your chapter didn’t try to lie, deny, and gaslight your way out of this one.
Grace did it, but DG’s response was the final nail in the coffin.
