GPA (sororities)
by: elohelHow important is the GPA requirement that is listed. I meet the minimum to rush but some sororities say you need a 2.9, will I instantly be cut?

Yea sorry. There’s just so many other girls with higher gpas that get released even if they meet the minimum

Being honest here, and it might be tough to hear, but when there are so so so many other amazing girls going through rush with a higher GPA, having a 2.9 makes it easy to release you from lists. I sure you didn't want to hear that but instead of putting yourself through this and possibly dropping, wait until soph year and give yourself a chance to raise your GPA.
