recruitment parties

im a PNM and what are recruitment parties? are they the events during preference round?

they are the individual events each sorority has during recruitment. philanthropy round you can be invited to attend up to 11 parties. sisterhood round you can be invited to up to 7 parties. pref round you can be invited to up to 2 parties.

“party” is not what you may think. they are no-frills events and are conversation driven. pref round is quite serious.

also lots of women do not get invited to the maximum amount of parties for the first couple rounds. focus on the chapters that invite you to their parties! every chapter has something to offer.
