Things to know for PNMs
by: heads up
Just a few bits of advice for you.
Clean up your Instagram. You know, just post the usual... your sport or clubs, homecoming, halloween, spring break, prom, graduation, and summer travel. It's all become basic. Once you get here, post the usuals... dorm room pics, pics with who you are friends with... we want to see this.
Make sure your Instagram is public.
Rec letters mean nothing. But if you feel inclined to bother people with writing them, get them in early. Don't wait. If you don't have a connection with someone in a chapter, it can maybe help to have the letter and then we can check out your Instagram.
Also, don't get your hopes up because you are a legacy. Too many people are legacies and it literally means nothing anymore. It doesn't help you.
Get out and socialize. We want to see you out and get to know your name. Go out with the people in your halls and classes.
Use your connections with actives. If you know someone make sure they know your name and know you are rushing. I you are interested in that chapter, tell them.
Remember, we are watching. So if you're out, don't get sloppy. Most sororities don't take risks.
That's all. See ya soon!

Don’t hesitate to introduce yourself to girls wearing their letters and ask to learn more about their srat or reach out to the chapter recruitment chairs.
