junior rush

Honest question: would it be a waste of time for a junior to rush a fraternity? I want to rush some decent fraternities and I know a couple of guys in each houses and from what I've heard, they don't give out bids to anyone older than a sophomore. I know it's late but would it still be possible to rush and get a bid from a decent fraternity as a junior?

I doubt you'd get a bid from a "decent" fraternity. Also, unless you're staying a 5th year, I'd say it's not worth your time to go through the hazing and everything.
