stop hating on big 6
by: Big6Honestly, I'm part of the big six (not saying which), and I'm not saying that the big six is like better per se in any way.. But we are under a lot of pressure to keep up our images as "top tier" so we do work for the big six title. We have the best and biggest philanthropies on campus, which is a large contributing factor in our superior statuses, along obviously with physical upkeep. Please stop sending all the hate about this because being in the big six is something that we have earned over the years, and are proud of.

I didn't write the original post but I'm in a top tier. We're not saying we're better than you, but the reputation is. The original poster even began the post saying that we don't think we're necessarily "better than" the lower tiers but obviously the status means something. And it's not just based on money or Tory birch bags.... In fact most of it isn't. It's philanthropy, looks, social life, and presence on campus. Which is what pretty much each of the big 6 sororities are strong with.

Lol okay. You can't meet one or two girls in a sorority that you think are unhygienic and then say that all 170 of them don't shower.. Like come on now. This goes for any sorority with any reputations, especially saying one whole sorority is mean or one whole sorority is easy or one whole sorority is snobby or hard partiesrs

If we are ranking on all around great girls and sisterhoods, the top 6 would look something like this:
1. Pi Phi
2. DZ
3. Kappa
4. Phi Mu
5. Adpi
6. Chi O

No way. Zeta and Theta should be in there for their philanthropy, involved on campus, and grades. Especially zeta for sisterhood and sweet girls. And I'm in neither of these by the way, I'm in one of the 6 you already listed but theta and zeta are definitely 2 strong ones no matter what.

it is pretty easy to see the time stamps on here and form an opinion that many of these are from the same insecure person. Sorry you have to work so hard on your physical upkeep. For me I was born beautiful inside and out. And if you were confident in your sorority you should not feel pressure the confidence should come naturally. sorry you failed to mention a decent gpa, manners and strong sisterhood as positive attributes to belonging in the big 6 arena. and there you have it everyone. what it takes to be in the big 6 and what you do not get in the big 6 as laid out by a member.

This is pathetic, low, and reeks of jealousy. Shows that you are not any better than the big 6 and you're bitter you're not part of them. I'm in a middle tier, and I don't go around generalizing hundreds of girls as having certain traits like you are with the big 6. Plenty of big 6 sororities have amazing sisterhoods, are sweethearts, and theta has one of the highest GPAs on campus.. As well as others. It's sad you need to make yourself feel better by making others feel little. I don't think you were "born beautiful inside" at all by writing stuff like this. Btw time stamps aren't everything. I've had an entire convo with someone on greek rank in a matter of minutes because they were online at the same time. One girls isn't going to write 15 posts to herself. Hope you feel confident in your sorority without having to diminish other sororities one day.

First off, I want to clarify that I am in the "lower quadrant" of sororities here at Miami. Can you please explain to me why you feel that your parents' money and tory birch bags make you better than me and my sisters?
