theta or alpha phi?
by: GuestCan someone tell me the main differences between these two? Theyre the main ones im looking out for in rush and would love to know more. I hear all kinds of things and you never really know

if your "looking out" for certain sororities before rush you're not doing it right. they're both top sororities and obviously a lot of girls want to be part of that reputation, but thats not the most important thing to think about during rush. I liked both of these sororities during rush and you might too but its probably best to keep an open mind because you should base your choice on where you feel most comfortable, not on what other people think about it. I know that sounds cheesy but its honestly so true

I agree with this 100%. I went in with two that I really really wanted to be in and I ended up not even liking them when I went through rush. You need to keep an open mind!

plus if you go into rush with your mind set on certain sororities (especially top tier ones) you are making yourself a lot more susceptible to being disappointed if they cut you, not saying they will haha but i know a lot of girls who got dropped by like a couple top tiers they really liked and dropped recruitment cause they didn't keep an open mind to the others

Yes we do... Especially the new pledge class which is really great this year. We hang out with a variety of guys

Realized I didn't really answer your question... Alpha phi seemed to be more of the "laid back down to earth type" while Theta's did seem very "wealthy" for lack of a better word
