It's the lowest top tier srat. They recruit mostly in-state copying the same type of girls that Alpha Phi goes for - based on looks first.
They typically have a good looking group but they are the lower income pretty ohio girls from mostly public schools.
They were 100% dropped from Alpha phi and theta and axo because no one chooses DZ over any of them, and if you are from out of state then you would prob choose zeta or dg over them too (they're much better at recruiting out of state girls) prob bc no one really wants to be a DZ unless you're from a small town in ohio.
Honest thought here, I would be embarrassed to wear DZ letters anywhere outside of Oxford, OH. There are no good chapters anywhere else in this country. I would choose another sorority especially if coming from out of state for sure like some of those I mentioned above.
DZ does have a good social presence too. I have mixed thoughts on their sisterhood, some get along, some don't, but that's probably everywhere even in mine.
I'm in another top sorority so I think what I'm saying is the fair.

^ It really doesn’t matter if there are relevant chapters near where you live. Chapters rarely interact and all know that each chapter is different. Unless you are literally at another campus nobody will care what letters you wear. The whole concept of an srat or frat national reputation is a farce. It just doesn’t matter.

Lower income and Miami Greek is an oxymoron. Most Miami Greeks went to public high schools. All fraternities at Miami regardless of tier love partying with DZ.
