by: COBI missed my chance to rush this year and am really regretting it. Are any sororities going to be doing Continuous Open Bidding this spring? If not, what are my chances for next year?

a lot of "top" and even middle sororities do not or take limited sophomores. Its possible to rush next year but it is harder to get into one unless you have an in because the gpa requirement may be higher per chapter and they usually want younger girls. However, I know a lot of second years got into aopi, adpi, tri delta, agd and some even into chio. The decision is up to you bu think about all your options including COR.

DG, Pi Phi, KD, Gamma Phi, Chi O and many others took at least one sophomore this year. The thing is, it's usually just one per pledge class. if it's your first time rushing, you have a GPA above a 3.0, you're cute and you're personable, you'll probably get a bid somewhere. If you want to get a bid into the ones I mentioned it'd be better to know someone ahead of time. in DG and Pi Phi especially you would probably have to know someone.

Anyone else? What are my chances next year as a soph? I heard many sororites don't take sophomores.
