getting on homecoming court via sorority

Over head conversation by very pretty girl who mentioned it would be harder to get nominated for homecoming court in a top sorority because there would be so many girls to compete with. I would never have thought about that strategy to pick a sorority. I learned something last night.

if you're picking sorority just so you can get on homecoming court, then you shouldn't be joining a sorority in the first place. greek life is about community/sisterhood, not yourself.
